Book Cover Design: “The Impossible”
Fall 2021
For my book cover I wanted to avoid the conventional book covers and to make something more collage-like, something that would catch the viewer’s eye. I wanted to combine typography, illustration, photography, film, and vectors to create an exciting book cover design. Contextually, I wanted to keep in mind the type of aesthetic that comes with skateboarding, and implementing these elements created a stronger book cover that would catch the reader’s eye, especially if they are a part of the skateboarding community.
